This is the amp that started the lunch box amp trend. It’s a minute little powerhouse that incorporates classic British tones with a simple set of controls. No channel switching or effects loops, this amp is a basic rock machine. Where the Fender Blues Junior has great cleans the Tiny Terror is more about overdrive.
The Tiny Terror has two 12AX7 tubes and two EL84 power tubes to produce 15 watts. 15 watts can e pretty loud so if it is too much there is a half power switch to take it down to 7 watts. Circuit wise it’s closer to a Vox amp than Orange amps of old.
The real specialty of the Tiny Terror is Crunch with a capital C. It can nail AC/DC type tones and does most classic rock with ease. With only Gain, Tone and Volume controls it’s easy to dial in a great tone for just about any guitar.
It’s built like a tank, very solid and includes a handy gig bag for travel.
